It's great to see Nicko playing but I find it hard to watch as his timing is so off NOT blaming the poor man he had a stroke .I hope he gets better ..Bless him.

I met Nico when I was 17 in 1981 and he was with the French rock band Trust playing in Huddersfield to about 50 people . I got one of his sticks after they played and it said ' Nico McBrain ' on it . That's why I spelt it that way in my first sentence . He couldn't really speak English back then , but seemed a really nice guy .

I worked for Iron Maiden and they are by far the nicest in the business. Love to my brothers

The man is 72 and is recovering from a stroke. Still drums better than I could ever hope to achieve. I have the coordination of a retarded giraffe.

Really sad to see that Nicko's right side (especially arm) is not working too well. Utmost respect to him for keeping going tho, not many would. Hopefully he can work his way back to regaining his strength.

really really sad to see him out of shape but he still has it. it is never easy to come back from a stroke that paralyzed your left side completely and perform an iron maiden song live on the stage with orchestra. thumbs up. cheers nicko.

Impressive performance of both Nico McBrain and the Marines. I wish I sat amongst the audience and listened to the performance. Unbelievable how good influence Iron Maiden has done with both the fans and every person who loves to play an instrument. Pure magic.

Sitting at home watching this, I almost started to applaud at the end of Wasted Years. The intro to Run to the Hills was superb. It's intriguing that the lyrics of a decidedly anti-imperialist song were amended, but not troublesome: I don't think it should be offensive in the context used, highlighting the atrocities carried out, but if it is, then it's an easy change.
